Pre-Birthday [Adventure]

Eris turns sixteen next month. They didn't want to miss having a birthday party, again, especially for such a milestone birthday, so they decided that reserving a private movie theater would be a great way to celebrate. Since they also wanted time to socialize, we decided on meeting at a park for an hour before the movie. 

They invited a select few friends and were thankful that most could make it, as this was planned fairly last minute based on guest and theater availability. 

At the park, the adults chatted while the teens caught up with each other. Eris opened gifts and then we were on our way to the theater. Nine sodas, two slushies, and seven popcorns procured, we headed to our private theater and settled in for two hours of puns and adventure on our Jungle Cruise. 

It was wonderful to hear laughter and quiet banter during the movie and see the smiles on everyone's faces afterwards. It was a wonderful afternoon.

Eris doesn't officially turn sixteen until next month, but this was a wonderful way to celebrate their birthday.
