[a moment] to hug someone I love: camp day nineteen

[moment 197]

The four of us left shortly after eight o'clock in the morning and made our way to Vermont for a visit with one of our favorite human beings and to get some tattoos started. And to see his menagerie of animals. And to play with his daughter. And to treat him to lunch.

Our visit started with one of the best, longest hugs I've had in a while. I think we both needed it. It ended the same way, along with I love you-s, because we both know the importance of telling people we love that we love them.

It was nice to chat and to start my tattoo and to have a tasty lunch, but the moments I will treasure most from our time together are the hugs.
