We gathered once again, both experienced and new members, to deep clean the apartment. We replaced items as needed, swept, washed, scrubbed, sorted, repaired, and organized. Towels, sheets, and blankets were bagged up to be washed so they would be sure to be fresh for a new family. It took hours longer than expected, but spirits remained high. 

We have given the green light and soon will receive news of a new refugee or evacuee family that will need our assistance. Before then, we will put the finishing touches on the apartment and eagerly anticipate word of the date of their arrival.
