an unmasked [moment]

[moment 269]

Early in the covid-19 pandemic, people were encouraged to wear cloth masks. As a family of seven, we accumulated a good number of cloth masks, which have been gathering dust since surgical masks and n95s have once more become available. For the longest time, we've had cloth masks hanging by our back door, and every day when I'd walk past them, I'd think about how I needed to do something with them.

The other day that moment arrived. I decided to make something new out of the masks. I put my sewing supplies to work and soon had a pile of dice bags where the pile of masks had been.
