The Afghan SIV family has been in the United States for just a few weeks. This week, the mom wanted to check out Costco and Aldi, and her daughter was quite amazed by the experience. Fourteen year old (homeschooled) volunteer Onyx treated the little one to a berry ice cream sundae, and this precious child saved some for her big brother in celebration of his first day of school! How delighted she was to see him when we arrived home!
