We stopped at a couple more stores in search of specific items, and then made our way to a local restaurant. Apparently 3PM on a Tuesday is the perfect time to dine out during a pandemic, as we were the only customers in the entire restaurant the whole time we were there. 

A few years ago I'd never have thought that eating in an empty restaurant would feel so comforting and safe.
