[reason 222] i take after my grandmother


 My grandmother - my Nanna - always made enough food for twice the people in attendance for any meal. We gathered for dinner at Nanna and Grampy's house on most of the Sunday of my childhood. She made all sorts of things, but mostly I remember the london broil with apricot sauce and the chicken and rice, which were my favorite meals that she made. 

I tend to take after my grandmother in the fact that I make so. much. food. We have nine members of our household, so I'm used to making food for at least that many people at all times. I have no idea what I'll do when kids move out. I'll probably cook meals one week and have enough for Jim and I for a month...which isn't a bad plan, come to think of it.
