[reason 334] filling in the blanks

 

 Today was the day that our two new kids sat down together and filled out their portion of their adoption paperwork. Along with personal information and signatures came the choosing of new names. 

To be honest, I wasn't expecting either one to take our last name, but Freddy was quick to write our last name after his chosen first name. Zayla chose her chosen last name, and for that I'm thankful. It's absolutely beautiful and just flows with her first name. The love matters, not the last name. 

As they filled in the blankks on the adoption paperwork, I prayed that we will adequately be able to fill in the blanks in their lives.
