[Nevertheless] We Made It

We ventured out, not knowing how cold nor how icy it would be, or what we would encounter on the way. We forged through vast swatches of frozen ground. There were only a couple casualties along the way.

We encountered an ent, who was vanquished thanks to a brave knight in colorful hoodie ...

giant white birds that can be particularly aggressive if you encroach on their territory...

and a furry wood-coveting swamp monster (his name is Mason, in case you're wondering).

Nevertheless we made it. We survived. 

And some of us finished our winter hike with a little shoe skating.
