[reason 79] corned beef, cabbage, and company

I love spending Wednesdays at my parents' house, eating good food and having good conversations. Some of my favorite meals I've made this year are Wednesday meals - corned beef and cabbage, shepherds pie, chili, Canadian meat pie ... I seem to have started walking down the memory lane of childhood dinners lately. It's fun, and tasty, and great to also introduce my children to some dishes they hadn't yet experienced.
