Onyx had had a hectic and draining week...and it was only Thursday. 

We were done with an appointment earlier than expected, so decided to stop at a nearby mall before heading home. Said mall has a pet store. The pet store has puppies. And lets people play with puppies. Onyx needed to play with puppies. It was essential to their mental health.

Onyx has wanted a dog for ages. A family member or two are resistant to the concept of having a dog. If only they could see the sheer joy on Onyx's face and delight that filled their entire being as they played with these two adorable doxies. The teen who came out of that little room was completely different from the one who entered it. 

Now all they want to do is to go play with puppies.
