It was Onyx's first time at the dentist with frequent tics. They tic much more with their right hand than their left, and it just so happened that their dental hygienist was left handed, so worked from Onyx's left side. Onyx listened to music on their earbuds and kept the xray cover on after xrays, using it as a weighted blanket. They asked to stop and take a break when needed. 

It was fantastic that Onyx was given time and patience and understanding and wasn't treated any differently than they have been during nearly a lifetime of going to this dental practice. We are blessed to have such wonderful providers.
