It was finally time to decorate the tree.
When I was growing up, that meant putting on a Christmas record and delving into the ornaments we'd collected over the years. So I decide a Christmas record was what was needed and got out our record player. John Denver and the Muppets was the chosen record of the evening.
Just after the final notes of the record rang out, the angel was placed atop the tree.
