Some mornings you just need to drag yourself out of bed to make bourbon balls because your sister and her husband are visiting from out of state and won't be back for Christmas. 

And perhaps in the process of making the bourbon balls, you discover that you may actually have made enough for Christmas as well.

Not that they'll last that long in my fridge if my children have anything to say about it.
