[reason 1] ridiculousness

It all began when one of my kids suggested baking something. Somehow, from that suggestion evolved a plan to do so with one person not speaking, one not able to hear, and one not able to see. Onyx wore their noise canceling headphones with music playing. Mal was blindfolded and Austen didn't speak. 

It was so much fun listening to them attempting to communicate with each other, from getting the ingredients to mixing everything together, to discussing how slime was going to become cinnamon rolls. Mal was mixing the psyllium husk with water while blindfolded and was incredibly concerned. 

In the end, they got through the process and made some absolutely delicious cinnamon rolls. 

 

Sometimes in life what we go through is completely ridiculous, but worth it in the end. And occasionally that ridiculousness is the incredibly amusing kind!
