Friends of ours have covid-19 and we needed to drop off something one of them left at our house. We decided to drop off a care package of sorts as well. We stopped at the store and picked up a blanket, coloring books, colored pencils, a book, bath bombs, chocolates, flowers, snacks, a puzzle, and more, in hopes of brightening their day.
Putting these special deliveries together is fun to do, and we know how heartwarming it is to be on the receiving end as well. When Jim had covid, wonderful friends dropped of comfort for us as well, and it made a really stressful time much more bearable.
