an aww kind of [moment]
[moment 327]
I sat at the table with the two of them. When I arrived, one was passed out and the other was taking care of them. There was no panic, no call for help ... just one teen waiting for the other to return to consciousness while making sure they were breathing and otherwise safe. The other would return the favor soon enough.
They'd spent a couple hours wheeling around the mall in their manual wheelchairs. Both forgot food existed. And to stay hydrated. They were just enjoying being together too much, I guess.
When I noticed them holding hands, I could help but capture the moment ... the hands, the wheelchair gloves ... the cell phone ... the emotional support axolotl.
