[a moment] to make new

[moment 321]

I'm working on a project. My parents' photo albums from the 1970s and early 1980s are falling apart. The plastic page covers are brittle and disintegrating. Photos are falling out. So as a gift to them, I purchased new paper and binders and plastic sleeves. I'm carefully removing the photos, numbering and labeling them, and then making a new version of the albums, in hopes that it will last for decades to come. Each snapshot is a moment in time - and going through them one by one has transported me to so many times and places and through myriad emotions. It's going to be a lot of work, but I'm more than happy to do it if it means preserving these moments for years to come.
