Madison (CT) Pride was wonderful - great vendors, friendly people, fantastic performances, and so many people relishing the time and space to be exactly who they are. One of my favorite moments came at the end of the day when we were packing up. We had two mystery bags left, and Onyx gave them to two teens who had been at Pride all day. The teens' delighted exclamations as they examined the contents of their bags were easily heard across the park. I'm not sure whose smiles were larger- the teens' or Onyx's and mine as we realized how much joy our simple gesture produced.
