A dapper pug adorned a billboard I see on my way home from a variety of places. Each time I'd see it, it would bring a smile to my face. The other day I glanced up, expecting to be greeted by my two dimensional friend, only to discover the image was replaced by a bland ad for a radio station. I experienced deeper disappointment than was probably called for. I don't know what it was, but that pug was just the whimsy I needed to give me a little boost.
