[a moment] of care
[moment 139]
I was in bed and in pain for most of the day. My migraine was so horrific that I couldn't keep migraine medication down for more than a half a second.
My children let me rest. My youngest made me french fries, of which I ate eight, after which I successfully downed my migraine medication.
That my youngest took a moment to check on me and ask me what I needed - and then provide greatly needed salty food - lifted me out of my misery and got me on the path to being able to be a somewhat functional human being.
