[new] way of baking


I got five or six times the poundage of apples I thought I purchased from Flashfood. Apparently, instead of making new apple produce bags and listing them, they just kept adding apples to the two existing bags. After much peeling, coring, and slicing (thanks in great part to my husband), I made two gluten/dairy/added sugar -free apple cobbler / crumble / ???s and a metric ton of applesauce. Just so much applesauce. 

I was worried about whether or not the kids would like a dairy, sugar, and gluten-free version of the usually buttery and sugary dessert, but the way it quickly disappeared along with the exclamations that it was delicious proved my worries baseless.

Now to remember how I made it...
