[a moment] to put their feet up

[moment 43]

If you ever need a new couch or comfy chair, bring someone with dysautonomia with you. They're good at finding the nearest piece of furniture and taking it for a test ride. They can also tell you which stores and other places have the cleanest or dirtiest floors, not that they seek out or necessarily want to be privy to his information.

Attempting errands the other day, Onyx made it maybe ten to fifteen minutes walking around Savers before their already rapid heartrate spiked into the high 130s and their legs ceased functioning. After they regained some semblance of functionality, it was determined that their legs were jello and their hip wasn't happy and wheels were in order.

I've gone from knowing where every public restroom in every place we go is located because the child spent a couple years of their preschool-hood needing to go potty in every single building we entered, even if they peed five minutes before, to scoping out clean(ish) places for my child to pass out as we navigate life.

They definitely keep life interesting!
