[reason 170] firsts

When our kids are growing up, we celebrate their "firsts" - the first time they roll over, their first step, their first word. As they get older, we somehow forget how important firsts are in a person's life - and that no matter how old a person is, we can still celebrate firsts.

Austen ordered their first adult beverage as a card carrying twenty-one year old on their birthday at the Renaissance Faire. It was fantastic. They made sure I got their "over 21" bracelet in the shot.
