[reason 63] pawprints

 

We often have pawprints on our back deck  when it snows. I love seeing them, knowing we have friends visiting.

We live within walking distance of shopping plazas, as our short, dead-end street spills out onto the main road. We live at the end of the dead end, and happen to have a rather large swatch of woods behind our house. We have all sorts of animals, from squirrels, raccoons, and skunks to coyotes, foxes, fishers, and bears. 

I love living close to civilization, yet close enough to nature to get visits from our furry friends.
