Am I having symptoms that indicate that I'm having a stroke?

Yes.

Am I having a stroke?

Probably not.

Should I go to the emergency department?

Yes.

Will I?

Probably not. 

Every time this happens, I wonder if other people with hemiplegic migraines go through the same thing. How many of us could very well be having a stroke, but are so used to suffering through hemiplegic migraines, that we figure it's most likely not a stroke and can't be bothered with the rigmarole of going to the emergency department?
