I love my kids - all of them - whether they're related by blood or not. 

One of those kids lives in Texas. I've never met them in person. But their birthday was a couple weeks ago and Onyx and Finn asked to send their friend a gift. So we did. We had sent him a Christmas gift last year as well - and he'd run out of the real New England maple syrup that was included in that gift - so it was definitely time, and the perfect occasion.

Just like all of my kids, he's welcome at our (chaotic, under renovation, only has one bathroom) house anytime. Heck, I'll even chip in for a plane ticket to get him here!
