[a moment] or twenty two with hiccups
[moment 198]
She came into the world in the middle of the night ...with hiccups. She spent every single day from the day she was capable of hiccupping when she was still in my belly hiccupping in the middle of the night and that night was no different. Nor were the nights and days following her birth. Every day. Hiccupping. She still gets the hiccups easily and often.
I could write about all the things Mal has done in the past year or all of her many accomplishments and talents and amazing qualities. But for some reason all I can think about is the damn hiccups...and how much I enjoy spending time with Mal.From hanging out with her in her room while she cleans to going on little adventures together, it's always nice to hang out together. We have great conversations and come up with the best (worst?) ideas and do the strangest things.
Happy 22nd Birthday, Mal! I'm greatly looking forward to seeing what new adventures your twenty-third year brings you!
Our oldest also had those darn hiccups. He is still burping his way through the world.
