Everything [Adventure]
[Adventure 143]
I took my oldest daughter for her covid-19 vaccine and as we were getting ready to pull out of the parking lot, I asked her if she wanted to do anything else before we went home. We got to a stop sign and she pointed across the street. The sign on the building said they have everything, so we went.
As we explored, we discovered that they seemed to actually have everything. They have at least two organs. They have pocket watches and knives and jewelry and housewares. They had a money frog, but my daughter bought it. They have medical supplies and camping stuff and so many couches. They had a small bat that says big boy on it, but that went home with my daughter's boyfriend. They have toys and books and antiques and so many records. They have a room of Christmas (with a sprinkling of other holidays). Things I've purchased from there include platform crutches, a twin air mattress, and a pyrex measuring cup.
We went again after their second dose of the covid vaccine and again after a medical appointment a couple streets away. It seems we now find ourselves there whenever we're in the area. And somehow they always have something we need. According to my children we don't need an organ, though. Not even this fabulous white one.
The building itself is interesting as well.
We never know what we're going to find - it's always an adventure!
