Representation matters.

My children didn't grow up with much representation of themselves in media, especially not in a positive, accurate way. 

Children and teens these days have more people just like them to view on tv, in movies, and on social media. 

Growing up, my children loved Blues Clues. Taking a break for creating social media posts for my church yesterday, I saw a video from the current Blues Clues that made me incredibly thankful for the creators, and for the fact that many kids' families were represented. 

Pride month is nearly upon us and I love that children and their families are included in this way.
