Family [Adventure]

[Adventure 6]

A couple times a week, my family - all seven of us - set out on an adventure in hopes of seeing something new, gaining experience, and perhaps finding some treasure. We never know how long it's going to take and we usually only stop when we're too tired to go on. At times we have to sleep in the jungle outside a temple. Other times we're relatively safe back at camp. Once we slept in a small room in a temple with a decapitated shield guardian blocking the entrance.

Dungeons and Dragons has become something that occupies much of our time. Between gathering as a family to play, developing back-up characters just in case our original characters die, and becoming slightly obsessed with the wondrous variety of dice available for gameplay, more often than not someone is talking about or doing something related to D&D.

Dungeons and Dragons suits our family well- role-playing, fantastical creatures, weapons, magic, battles, problem-solving, props, dice, character development, backstories, and ever-evolving storylines. And, knowing me, eventually a tattoo or three.
