Thrifty [Adventure]
[Adventure 185]
My children are huge fans of thrift shopping. We have our usual stores and then a few others we visit when the first couple don't pan out...or when we happen to be in the area.
Taking two transgender people, a nonbinary individual, a pangender human, and a pomogender teen clothes shopping is always an interesting experience. Mostly they don't see clothes as having gender, which I think is fantastic.
The concept that women can wear skirts and dresses and jeans and shorts and slacks and men shouldn't wear skirts and dresses in our culture has always confused me.
When I take this menagerie of beings shopping, the focus is usually on how the articles of clothing look and feel on the person, not necessarily what gender for which they are designed ... as it should be.
