To Feel Loved [ADVENTure Fourteen]

We arrived home from thr Nutcracker just over eight hours before and now we were awake, but not yet ready to start getting ready for church. Alia and I snuggled in bed and Coren on the couch, our next Advent tag was selected. What three things make us feel loved?

Family was the first word out of both children's mouths. Being part of a family...and not just our blood-related family, but our family of friends ... and God's family. The sense of belonging to others and the comfort found in that help is feel loved.

When someone is kind to us or considerate of our different abilities, we feel loved. Being taken care of gives a sense of security and love like no other.

When people want to spend time with us, have a conversation with us, or get to know us better, we feel loved. Feeling like you have value to someone else - that you're worth spending time with - feels like love.

We could go on and on - being forgiven,  being heard, being understood, and so many other things speak love into our lives.

How do you feel loved?
How are you showing love to others today?
How are we loving our neighbors as ourselves?
