[reason 243] scissors

This is a teenager who did an AMAZING job of responding to a bear situation involving their mother and this tent. Said teenager was at the campsite next door with a friend at the time of the bear incident, woke up the friend's parents, getting me the help I needed. 

This is the tent ripped open by a bear or two, who retrieved one pair of shorts on which salad dressing had been spilled and apparently licked them clean, leaving them beside the tent. 

This teenager, when we were done with the duct-taped back together tent, then joyously took a pair of scissors and had some fun carving up the tent. Mementos of the ordeal - and the joy - were kept for our memory jar.
