Friday is tie dye day at Camp Calumet ... whether or not camp programs are happening. This year's tie dye session took place in the "bear tent" which was perfect because we could make as much of a mess as we wanted and not worry about it. By the time we were done, there was a concerning trail of red dye that looked more like a blood trail than anything else.
I put down a stained blanket on one of the tables. It will be interesting to see how it comes out in the end!
It's so much fun to tell young people that they can make as much of a mess as they want and watch the delight on their face as they let their creativity soar outside the bounds of what is usually acceptable.
