[Adventures] In This House
[Adventure 332]
We've gone on many adventures in the past two years.
Our family started playing Dungeons & Dragons together here and there over the past few years, but really started playing in 2020 during quarantine. We've had so many adventures, both in the game and preparing for it.
We have worked together with various members of our family to create more characters than campaigns we've had. We've created main characters and back-up characters with personalities, quirks, and backstories. We've delved into different worlds, gone on myriad adventures, and (mostly) lived to see another day.
Believe it or not, our lives are much like the adventures we go on in this roleplaying game. We do our best to work together, despite our differences. We fight the monsters of mental and physical illness together. We definitely use all the charisma we have to get through - at times using it on other family members to get our way. We fail and we succeed, both of these valid things that happen in life. We realize that we often learn more from our failures than our successes. We help our party when we can and finesse the rules as needed. We use our creativity for good (mostly) and to get ourselves out of tight spots.
And often we see mundane daily tasks as sidequests.
