(unexpected) twist

The time has finally come for Onyx to officially change their name, so off we went, Onyx, Gramma, and I, to Probate Court to file the paperwork. 

This is the same Probate Court in which we officially adopted Rion. 

In 2024. 

Two years ago.

Where they had a Kermit the Frog puppet that was missing an eye, which both frightened and amused certain family members.

We couldn't resist checking, and to our delight (dismay?), One-Eyed Kermit was still there.

I guess we'll just call it the Kermie Twist. 

P.S. Someone was excited to be at the courthouse. Someone else was not so amused. Sorry, Mom!
